What We Must Do After Tuesday Night

By November 15, 2016Uncategorized

As we wake to a tomorrow without Hillary Clinton as our 45th president and wonder what to do, one thing is clear: while our reality has changed, our values have not. We must go on using our entrepreneurial energy, experience and talents to advance the vision of America we share with Hillary Clinton.

Hillary’s remarks on Wednesday showed her grace under pressure, her insight into what really matters, her compassion for the millions who went on this amazing journey with her, and her resolve to keep advancing “the causes and values we all hold dear” while holding others accountable to the same standard.

“Our constitutional democracy enshrines the peaceful transfer of power…It also enshrines the rule of law; the principle we are all equal in rights and dignity; freedom of worship and expression. We respect and cherish these values, too, and we must defend them.”

“Our campaign was never about one person, or even one election. It was about the country we love and building an America that is hopeful, inclusive, and big-hearted…This loss hurts, but please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it.” Read the full transcript and watch Hillary speak.
